Dylan Dreyer's new baby boy is here, and her Today co-stars couldn't be more thrilled.

The NBC co-anchor and her husband, Brian Fichera, welcomed Oliver George on Thursday, January 2. Little Oliver came into the world around 9:13 a.m. local time weighing 7 lbs, 2 oz, and measuring 19 inches long. This is the couple's second child; they are also parents to a 3-year-old named Calvin Bradley.

On Friday morning's Today show, Hoda Kotb was absolutely elated to share the wonderful news while sitting alongside Sheinelle Jones, Lester Holt, and Al Roker.

"The Today family just got bigger," Hoda said while looking at photos of Dylan's family from yesterday. Seeing the pictures, Sheinelle couldn't help but chime in, "this melts my heart."

"I see Calvin beaming, mama and baby doing so well. I mean, these are gorgeous pictures. My other favorite shot is Calvin reacting ... Congrats to Dylan, we love you, honey," Hoda shared.

During the third hour of the NBC morning program, Dylan herself called in to give viewers an update. She explained that she felt "good" as well as "happy and blessed."

"I just got all my drugs, so I'm doing just fine," Dylan joked before explaining why the couple chose to name their little boy Oliver. The name idea popped into Dylan's head while she was in London covering the Royal Ascot last May.

"We [she and Brian] just like the name," Dylan began. "There was a period of time where we had a list of five different names, and then we were somewhere, and like everybody we were around was named Oliver."

Dylan announced she was pregnant with her second child back in July, just a few months after revealing that she had suffered a miscarriage and was dealing with secondary infertility (the inability to become pregnant or carry a baby to term after previously giving birth).

Right before the couple was about to try in vitro fertilization though, she got an unexpected call from Dylan's doctor.

“I was just waiting for the phone call from Dr. Reichman to tell me how much of each drug to use,” Dylan told People. "Instead, when he called, he said, 'Well, you can’t start IVF because you’re already pregnant!’ We were in complete shock. We couldn’t believe it!”

Fast forward to today, and little Oliver is here. As she made clear during her Today call-in on Friday, she is already totally in love.

“All I do is stare at him,” Dylan gushed.“I just want to kiss him every second."
