Twenty Nineteen has been quite the year for Jenna Bush Hager and her growing family. Back in August, the Today co-host and her husband, Henry Chase Hager, welcomed their third child, Henry Harold "Hal" Hager. And since the year gave them the greatest gift of all (an adorable family of five), Jenna shared the family's Christmas card with her Instagram followers, reflecting on the "sweet" year she had.
The photos are just as adorable as the message itself. The double-sided card has one photo of Mila and Poppy Louise snuggling their baby brother, and another precious shot of the whole family. Along with the photos, Jenna wrote a heartfelt message to her Instagram followers: "Happiest Hal-i-days!!!! 2019 sure has been sweet!! Thanks to all of you for your kindness and well wishes this year! May your days be warm and bright."
Many Today show fans flooded Jenna's Instagram with comments and, of course, heart emojis. "You and your family are beautiful! Merry Christmas," one fan wrote. "This is so beautiful and clever. Merry Christmas to you and your family and thanks for the joy you bring the world with your light and smile and laugh," another said.
Cuteness aside, Jenna stayed true to her honesty approach to motherhood by joking about the chaos that comes with having three kids under age 5. On one side of the card, it reads: "All is not calm, but all is bright." Since returning from maternity leave, Jenna has been candid about life as a new mom-of-three. "There are days where it feels hard. Live television is easier sometimes because we love them so much and I beat myself up sometimes. I want things to be right for those little kids," she told Hoda back in November.
But still, it's clear that even in the midst of chaos, Jenna is feeling all things merry and bright this year.
